The PTO provides after school enrichment programs Monday – Friday at the school. These programs allow us to provide additional educational programming to further students’ development after school in a fun and safe environment. Please see the participant guidelines for these programs.
Classes run from 3:30 to 4:45 pm.
Monday: Yoga
Open to all grades, kids will learn various yoga poses as well as breathing and relaxation techniques in a creative and fun environment.
Available for kids in grades K-4. Sessions run January 13th-March 10th (no class 1/20 and 2/17). Cost per child is $60.
Monday: Botanical Garden
Activities to include Container Gardens, Terrific Terrariums, Plant Slime, Clay Orchids, Salt Dough Metamorphosis, and Plant Prints.
Available for kids in grades K-4. Sessions run January 27th-March 10th (no class 1/20 and 2/17). Cost per child is $150.
Tuesday: Canvas n Cup
Each week children will work on a different project, exploring a variety of art materials and techniques and will go home with a masterpiece or two of their own! Activities include
Canvas painting, Plaster / Ceramics painting, Glass & Mosaic decorations and Wood Panel Projects.
Available for kids in grades 2-4. Sessions run January 14th-March 11th (no class 2/4, 2/18, or 3/4). Cost per child is $230.
Wednesday: Sew Studio
Looking for a fun activity to create awesome sewing projects? This class will teach the basics of the sewing machine (including safety!) as well as some hand sewing techniques. Students will have a blast sewing multiple projects throughout the session including stuffed animals, bags, and accessories. No experience necessary and all materials are provided!
Available for kids in grades 1-4. Sessions run January 15th-March 12th (no class 2/19). Cost per child is $230.
Thursday: STEM Beginnings
STEM Beginnings provides fun-filled experiences that encourage children’s curiosity and learning. Children engage in challenges that allow them to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math concepts using a variety of tools and techniques: from simple experiments and building challenges to team-based activities, art and crafts, and fun games! We offer a wide range of STEM lessons that help children learn new things, discover how things work, and create solutions to problems in a collaborative learning environment. We stimulate their minds and empower them to be life-long learners.
Available for kids in grades K-1 (Class 1) and 2-4 (Class 2). Sessions run January 16th-March 13th (no class 2/20). Cost per child is $184.
Friday: Teamworks
Teamworks Not Your Average Sports will be a class where kids get to play and experience fun sports and backyard-style games.
Available for kids in grades K-2. Sessions run January 17th-March 14th (no class 2/21 or 3/7). Cost per child is $100.
Friday: Chess
Join the Chess Club with US Life Master and Fide Trainer Lou Mercuri! Available to students in grades 1-4, Mr. Mercuri will teach children chess strategies over the course of 6 weeks. Children should have a basic knowledge of chess, be willing to learn and really love to play. The last class features a final game and pizza party.
Available for kids in grades 1-4. Sessions run January 17th-March 7th (no class 2/21). Cost per child is $75.
