I. Approval of Minutes
- September minutes approved
II. Annual Appeal
- Envelope to go home with students on Giving Tuesday (Tuesday after Thanksgiving)
- Include text to donate and QR code
III. After School Enrichment
- Ecotarium will not do a winter session, but will be back in the spring
- Chess will come back for the winter session, but will be limited to one classroom instead of splitting in two
- Other opportunities to explore for future sessions – Tower Hill and Hanover Theater
IV. Family Dinner Nights
- Based on feedback from last meeting, Family Dinner Nights have been changed to bimonthly and will rotate which day of the week they are held
V. Treasurer’s Report
- Fun Run brought in ~$32k
- Playground fund has ~$41k
- ~$55k in revenue and ~$17k in expenses (need some clarification on these numbers – are these projected for the year or what we’ve done so far?)
VI. Playground Research Committee
- The Playground Research Committee presented their findings which included:
- options for vendors
- projected timeline
- cost estimates
- options for phased-in approach vs completing all at once
- funding opportunities
- Next Steps
- Talk to town about collaborating
- Get specific cost for each step of a phased-in approach from the vendors
- Get the same set of data from each vendor so we have direct comparisons
- Board to meet separately to review options once more data is collected
