To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participants, the following rules are in place for the After-School Enrichment Program. These rules help foster positive behavior, active participation, and a sense of community for every child involved.

Students attending these programs will be expected to continue using appropriate school behavior, including: 

• Treat all participants, staff, and volunteers with kindness and respect.
• Use polite language and actions—no bullying, teasing, or hurtful comments.
• Listen when others are speaking and take turns during discussions or activities.
• Following direction and paying attention to the staff and volunteer instructions.
• Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself unless the activity requires sharing or cooperation.

• Follow all safety rules for games, activities, and transitions.
• Take care of your personal items and any program materials.
• Clean up after yourself at the end of each activity or session.

• Remain in the areas assigned for after-school activities. Always check with staff before leaving an area.
• Follow any movement or transition rules, whether going to a different activity or the restroom.

Just as important as the rules above, we aim for students to enjoy themselves and have fun!

Parent/Guardian Communication

To ensure smooth operation of the After-School Enrichment Program, we ask for your cooperation with the following:

• Timely Pick-Up : Please ensure that your child is picked up promptly at the designated end time of the program. Timely pick-up helps us maintain a safe environment for all participants.
• Alternate Pickup: If someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up your child, please notify the program staff in advance, including the person’s name and relationship to your child. Children will not be released to anyone who is not on the approved pick-up list without prior communication from the parent/guardian.
• Feedback and Concerns: We value your input and want to ensure that your child’s experience is positive and enriching.If you have any concerns or suggestions you can contact the program coordinator and/or share with the PTO at afterschoolenrichment@springstreetschoolpto.org so we can ensure to address it and monitor any on-going issues. Please report any unsafe behavior, accidents, or injuries immediately..

In the rare instances where there’s persistence or disruptive issues of not following the above rules will it will results in : 

1. Offer a one time warning if the behavior continues.
2. Removal from the program for persistent or disruptive behavior. 

Unfortunately, we are committed to the cost of the program with the vendors and therefore are unable to provide reimbursement for removal from a program
