Why I volunteer: I volunteer to be involved in the school and assist in making decisions. My oldest two will be first graders and I am excited to jump into it.
What I do when I’m not volunteering for the PTO: I work at UMass Presidents Office. But when I’m not working I love doing anything with my kids.

Why I volunteer: I believe in the power of community and the importance of actively contributing to my children’s educational journey. Being part of the PTO allows me to make a tangible difference in enhancing school life, supporting teachers, and fostering a positive environment where every child can thrive. It’s a way for me to invest in the future of not just my own children but all the students who attend our school
What I do when I’m not volunteering for the PTO: When I’m not PTO-bound, you might catch me doing laps (or attempting to) in the pool, savoring family time, whipping up a mean chicken tikka masala (seriously, let’s eat!), or focusing on my career. Balancing these passions keeps me energized and ready to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to my volunteer endeavors.

Why I volunteer: With my third and youngest child entering kindergarten at Spring Street I decided it was time to volunteer at the school. My older two have had great experiences at Spring Street and I know part of that is because of the PTO and I decided that my life is a little more flexible right now and I wanted to be able to give back during the last five years that I have a child in elementary school.
What I do when I’m not volunteering for the PTO: In addition to being a mom of three, I’m an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist specializing in diabetes management at a local community health center in Worcester. I enjoy group classes at the YMCA to stay active along with taking our dog for walks up to Dean Park. In the winter, we love to ski and in the summer we spend as much time as we can at the Cape where I enjoy biking and going to the beach.
